Yep....if you need to use the gun, the .38 is a hellofa better choice. As to the weight, here's how I carry mine, albeit with my shirt tail out. Rod BTW, that's my wife's Smith M36-3" bbl., I carry my M60-3" the same way and don't feel the weight at all. A good holster is all you need.
