Do you use a gun with a tac light for home defense?

Alright, finally got my tac light on like I said I would. Got the TLR-1 and a separate flashlight that's not mounted. Fenix LD20 best thing about that one is it uses AA's ;) That light is 180 lumens...Extremely bright and also has the strobe effect...Now...the tac light that's mounted on my XD45 is EXTREMELY bright...It's like the sun. Seriously insane. I love it. Really happy I got it.

Of course, one question though....

Where can I get this thing a holster? OWB or IWB whichever. I think it makes more sense OWB. Anyone have a holster for their gun that has a mounted tac light?

My Bladetech is arriving today if fedex can navigate a blizzard. I'll post pics.

i dont own a weapon with a rail, so no weapon light for me, but i do have a 200 lumen 4sevens tac light on my nightstand. :D

I have one on my SR40, I do t remember what kind it is but it's blinding.

It also fits on my sig mosquito incase a gang of beer cans kicks my door in.

Holster arrived, pretty nice. Nice snug fit, well made. Most of the tension seems to be on the light itself. I should have went with a different belt attachment but I can always put on a sting ray loop. The screws go into metal inserts.

As of now, I don't have a tac-light on any of my guns. None of my handguns have a rail on which to mount one. I've been meaning to pick one up for a long-gun, but I typically don't keep a long-gun handy for SD; I just use my carry pistol which stays near me. I feel better knowing my other guns are locked and secured.

I would like a tac-light, but don't think I'd want it on a carry gun, so would probably never use it anyway, since I don't like keeping extra guns about. A good flashlight in my other hand serves me well enough (in theory).
