Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Paste Wax
Here is my Glock 17L buffed out with three coats of Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus Paste Wax on it.
Now that I think of it, what might happen is that the wax might act as a wick on whatever oil is left on the slide. When the wax dries it might be drying whatever compunds in the oil are suseptable to evaporation.
Or maybe there is a thin layer of oil left in the microscopic pores of the tennifer.
I don't know... it doesn't shine like a showroom car, but it doesn't look bad either... three coats of wax on her.
