When I carry I usually carry my Beretta 8040
IWB. I also switch between a Colt 38 Detective Special in a shoulder holster and a Colt Vest Pocket .25 in the pocket.
All depends on what I feel I need at the time.

Happy New Year to one and all :)

browning 40 hi power is the only way for me. i own 1911's,glocks, h&k's. my wife likes her browning 9mm. we like the hi powers be cause we shoot them well and they are extremely reliable. another thing was or former dea CCW instructor said they are the only gun he has carried for about 25 years,if he trusts his life to them and has defended his life with them numerous times, that's good enough for me; i hope i never have to even once

Occasionally found carrying 5.5" 44 Mag Redhawk (sorry, Bill Wilson), 4" GP100, or EAA 9x19/41AE Witness.

Yes, I'm aware of my weird candy-assed carry choices......my 'always' is a NAA 22lr.

Y2K apparel will be 1911 with 2 spare mags.

My wife's 'always' is a slick M38 Airweight Bodyguard.

JFleming, WESHOOT2, make it a 3rd for the NAA mini as an "always". Mine is a .22 magnum with CCI maxis.

Usual carry is S&W 36, original wood grips, 125 gr +P Gold Dots or 148 gr HBWC. Occasionally carry S&W Model 60, Hogue grips, 110 gr .357 JHP (Corbon or Winchester).

Rarely, Phoenix "Raven" .25 (no kidding). FMJ ball rounds.

SW40VE Sigma with a 15rd mag of Winchester SXT JHPs is my normal carry. Sometimes I'll have a second magazine of 15. On occassion, I'll carry a Makarov 9x18 with 10 FMJ's as backup.

When I was in the burgular alarm business in the early 70's I carried a S&W modl 27 as a primary and S&W modl 10, 2 inch, as backup. In the 80's I turned into a 1911 primary kinda guy with a S&W model 60 backup. In the 90's I've turned into a Glockster.

Stainless Walther PPK .380 loaded with FMJ's and tucked inside the waistband. Precise, reliable, and looks good when you show it to people. Make mine shaken, not stirred...

Triggers exist to be pulled... again and again.

I usually carry a Walther P99 in a Kydex IWB holster. For deep carry I usually carry my Taurus M605 .357 Mag. in a pocket holster.

Just as there is no such thing as too much fun,
there is no such thing as owning just one gun!!!

Now, go do the right thing, and buy that Walther!!

Dogger,

It's a stainless Kahr K9 for me. Love it.
Feeds great, looks good, perfect fit and balance, awesome soft rubber grip, sufficient caliber and capacity for its small size. I carry IWB when covering clothing is appropriate, and Thunderwear for "deep concealment."

Once a buddy said to me, "What if you reach in there and pull out the wrong thing?" Buddy #2 says, "That will be SURE to scare the badguy away!"
