I agree with most opinions on this thread, but feelings about bikers must be different out east.
Here in the west I would do everything possible to avoid a group of bikers. If put in the situation this guy in the SUV was; it wouldn't really be any decision at all: start shooting.
Out here we've got the booze fighters, hells angels, Mongols, POBOB's, SOS, etc. if you ever have a similar experience and see any of these colors---just start shooting. These are boys who won't blink an eye about getting in a scrap with LEO's, and if you have a run in with them the law will very, very likely be on your side, the MC's reputations are well known (especially in courthouses). Save your own life, just start shooting.
