Stupid dilemma I've gotten myself into..

For unforseen reasons I had to step back from buying firearms over the last 3-4 years and just recently went back to a brand new range built at my local Gander Mt. They have a very nice setup with air conditioning!! (Live in Florida).

Anyway.. the time at the range has rekindled my passion again and I have started searching for my next handgund purchase. Well..actually not searching.. I have found it.. I have held it.. I want it.. the Walther PPQ.

My current girlfriend also went with me to the range and she really liked shooting my Buckmark and CZ. I want to get a handgun for her so we could go to the range together...clean our guns after dinner together, and learn and shop together.

My delimma you ask?? I took her to the store today to try out some guns.. after checking out about 7 different models she says.. "The Walther PPQ is cute. I like it."

***!!! That is my gun. I want that gun.

I'm a man of variety. Should I just buy 2 of the same gun? Should I add another model to the collection? Why do women always have to take our dreams and make them theirs?

So in short.. I need to buy 2 handguns in 9mm. Range and HD. We will be buying SD compacts in the future.

The Walther PPQ is a yes... of course..most definitely..
The number 2 is ?????

Hey, buy two of same and both be happy. Just be thankful she wants to own and shoot a firearm. Most women would not want either. Count your blessings she likes to do the things you like to do. Get her whatever makes her feel comfortable and safe. A little competition never hurt anyone.

Also remember you now have a new obligation. When it comes time for clothes shopping or even looking at new purses, you are now oblgated to go with her and provide feedback as to how they look on her. You two are now a shopping team. :)

You are so blessed. I can remember in my sleep the sound of hundreds and hundreds of hangers sliding on display racks in Nordstroms.

If your woman wants to shoot with you, get her whatever she darn well wants;)

And if you like the same gun, get another for yourself

Wow, you must really like guns a lot if cleaning them is what you want to do after dinner

I'd rather be cleaning guns with my girl after dinner...then watching "Keep Up with the Kardashians" with her.

You could get one PPQ and one P99AS if you want variety.
Or, just buy 2 PPQ's for that matter. It would make shopping for mags/holsters that much easier.

I would get a PPQ for you two to share and then get something else to add to the collection as well. No reason to not get more than one kind of handgun if you can afford it otherwise.

Besides variety is the spice of life.

Would Love it if my wife would want that :D
Y/D

She won't be happy until she has her gun and neither will you. Get her a new Walther or give her yours and get yourself another. My wife didn't have a gun and I convinced her to have one for protection when I'm not at home. She chose the 2 1/2" S&W 66 I carried as a Private Investigator. She was happy with her choice and I'm happy that she is happy and well protected.
