Is alcohol a drug? As I recall gwb was at one time a heavy drinker, wonder if it affected his thinking and consequently his actions? Getting a @# in private is worse than appointing friends to public offices with out regards to qualifications, which result in hardships and even deaths of american citizens???? I dont think so. And I want mention spying and lying.

Yes alcohol is a drug and it takes a big man to quit drinking it if you have a problem with the consumption. It is a weak man that is fat or drinks or does drugs or cheats on his family ect. That weakness transends into your public life and that is a fact. If you have no "won't power" over yourself then you deserve no power over others.

Again I compare people so I can see who has a real core. We have been attacked by terrorist but who knows what other people are involved. If spying on you makes you feel uncomfortable then I wonder why, what are you trying to hide? Does listening to your conversations harm you? They can spy on me all they want cause I have nothing to hide.

Now who is qualified for a public office job? Is it an old friend from the Rose law firm or a business partner? All politicians carry with them those who stood with them in their quest for power, people they trust.

Does Bush have failures in policy? you bet he does and the border is going to destroy American life and that friend is his biggest problem.

The difference between a man who is true to his core values and a liberal tree hugger is plain as day. If you believe so much that man is destroying the world then you should recognize that you are part of the problem and deal with it starting with yourself.

A group that bases it's pick of the supreme court on the murder of babies has no core. That isn't religion that is fact.:eek:
