None of the double actions are "aesthetically" pleasing (Colt or S&W) ... Now a good Single Action (Colt/Ruger/FA/USFA) that gets the heart rate a goin' .
I own several different revolvers from various manufactures, Colt, S&W, Ruger and even a few off brands.
By far my favorite is the S&W model 27 with the 8&3/8 inch barrel that's in the picture.
I can stand on my deck and shoot clay targets set on a dirt bank 55 yards away and then shoot the pieces until they get to small to see.
That's with full power357 loads.
Colt's. The Python is in a class by itself. I'll take a 3rd edition Detective Special over a Model 36, like my wife has, all day long and twice on Sunday. Which is easy because I have two of them.
