Small 9X19mm that fits MY hands

Springfield XDS
S&W M&P Shield
Ruger LC9/LC9s
Kahr PM9/CM9
Glock 43
Kel-Tec PF-9
Walther PPS
Beretta Nano
Sig P938

Start with these, get your hands on as many as you can and even try and shoot them.

I just chipped in and went in on half with my parents to pick up a Sig P938 for my brother. WOW!! what a gorgeous subcompact and it feels great in my hand and I have big hands. The hardest thing to get past is the price.

Well Tim, as long as you're going small single stack, try handling the little Kahr CW45. Not much larger than a CW45, and as small as some of these little 9mm being mentioned. Here's mine with my new Kahr CT380:

Had a PM9 (great little pistol) but gave it to my son because I didn't care for the way my pinky hung loose off the grip. My hands are medium to small in size, so the CW45 is a great fit & although pretty light - weighs in at 28 ounces loaded with 6 +1 rounds of 235 grain ball - the recoil isn't bad at all.

Bought the CT380 with its longer grip because of the same pinky problem with my Ruger LCP, and the Kahr holds 7+1. The LCP is retired.

I might get a CW9 just to have a nice "tweener". :)

After seeing these suggestions I think mine is quite appropriate....the CZ RAMI 9mm. Similar to others in size, almost same size as Glock 26 BUT ERGONOMICALLY LIGHTS YEARS AHEAD of almost anything suggested here. DA/SA WITH A CAPACITY OF 11 or 15, extremely accurate out of the box (as all CZ's are), a pleasure to shoot and good looking, too!
I can agree with looking at a CM9, too. Or the PM9 or MK9. FINE weapons that'll fit in your front pockets. I've had 5 Kahr's with no issues.

I could offer two to try the Kimber Aegis 9mm made for smaller hands or the new Browning Black label it is a 380 but 7/8 scale including the grip.

The Kel Tec PF9 has a pretty skinny/small grip n reliable. They can be had for $250 if you shop around..

I would also start with an M&P Shield.... add an inner tube to the grip......

Fits most people that have held my Shield

:)

I'd second giving the Walther PPS a try.

Single stack, striker, and you can get a 9mm with a 6 round flush mag, a 7 round with small pinkie extension, and 8 round with a larger pinkie extension.

It also comes in .40 S&W, with the same choice of mags, but the round count is 1 less than the 9mm versions.

Has 2 changeable backstraps. My 5'1" daughter with small hands liked the smaller backstrap, and shot it just fine.

Small 9X19mm

Have not made a decision yet but...

I have sent PMs to many people...

For those who offered serious suggestions that I did not PM, I want to thank you also...:)

If you want something small Springfield xds in 9mm it already comes with night sights on it. I have the xds in 45 and it's tiny. It also comes with 2 mags a holster for the gun and a holster for the mags. The case is really nice and rugged it's even a better case then what I got with my kimber. I paid I think 500 out the door for mine I don't know what the average cost for the 9mm is.

I agree that the XDS is a great little gun; it's really easy to shoot for such a compact pistol, especially in the 9mm version. Though I've never seen one that came from the factory with night sights. All the ones I've seen came with a fiber optic front and two white dots in the rear.

It depends on how you carry your BUG. Are you really looking for a micro? You say your 342 is a miserable beast to shoot. I think you will run into the same dislike with pretty much any 2 finger grip 9mm. Now if you need to carry your BUG on your ankle or in a pocket you will just have to live with a little beast. If you carry it IWB, or shoulder rig, or appendix, or small of the back, maybe you could go with something a little more reasonable to shoot. In that case I would be looking for something on the smallish side of compact size that's light weight. If you find that to be a reasonable course to follow I suggest checking out the Bersa thunder UC and a newer pistol on the scene, the Grand Power GP11. Here's a video review of the Grand Power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ldavwc1WYfE
