Interesting thread.
I will admit that I use the term "rock" as a verb. I think many things rock, including French vanilla creamer in my tea, Bon Jovi, an amazing filet mignon done perfectly medium, a baseball triple play, tangy cheesecake, a close-up view of Mt. Rainier, and my Makarov, to name a few. These are things that "rock" for me.
The difference is that I am well aware that things which "rock" to me, may "totally suck" to someone else, and I'm okay with that. I'm not about getting into pissing contests over something that is purely subjective. Talk about a waste of time.
I love reading these gun forums because I get so many varying people's experiences, and from that I get educated. I am smart enough to discern between what is data and what is opinion, so I learn what I can and hopefully pass it along to someone newer than I.
In everything in life, we each have our opinions, based on our experiences or our preferences. As I type this, I realize that this is probably why I am absolutely DUMBFOUNDED at those people who just can't resist ridiculing homosexuals. It's just like ridiculing someone for carrying a .22 or a .25 for self-defense... It's not my choice, I wouldn't do it, but it's not my life, so why get myself all worked up into a lather over it?
And as long as this thread is dealing with brand loyalty, I will admit that I am brand loyal to two things: Toilet paper and paper towels.
