A hard-used Old Vaquero in 45 Colt.

Mine are nothing special,,,

But they do seem to work like they are supposed to.

I call her Savannah,,,
She's a J P Sauer & Sohns,,,
With a 6.5" barrel in .357 magnum.

Reasonably nice shooter with a crisp trigger.

I call this one Kate,,,
She is marked as a "Dakota",,,
With a 5.5" barrel in .357 magnum.

Again, a nice shooter with a crisp trigger.

I bought these guns from a private individual for $125.00 each,,,
I don't shoot them much but it was still money well spent.

Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter
and a not so pretty S&W model 1-1/2 (i believe)

Very nice guys ....

I'm waiting patiently for a new Freedom Arms, 4 3/4", Octagon barrel, premier grade, in .357 mag....but I just ordered it last week ...so it won't be here until the end of March probably ...

I'm starting to see why you guys like these old SAA's so much .../ or at least I think I am ...

Sarge said "Hard used Vaquero", but I disagree. Someday his Grandkid will look at that pistol and think How many times did that pistol slide in and out of a holster to get that wear around the muzzle and front sight? How many times was it cocked to get those drag marks around the cylinder? How many times was it fired to get the bluing worn that thin on the trigger? No, his Grandkid will see a well used and well loved pistol. I only hope I can leave something that good to my Grandgirl.

Colt SAA .45 Colt, El Paso Saddlery Tom Threeperson's holster and a 12 cartridge belt slide. The cartridges on the table are 265 grain Keith types and the ones in the slide are 250 grain Speer Gold Dots.

I saw this thread and remembered I didn't have pics of my Bearcat and .44 Super Blackhawk, still don't.:) I ended up taking the ones above instead. I'm trying, the lighting is a little off, but they are very clear and have a lot of detail. I just wish I could figure out how to get pictures that good of my rifles and shotguns, or group pistol photos. Mine always look like...

Here's a young lady in full recoil with my 7.5 inch Ruger SBH. We were teaching her about revolvers today and after all the .38 special drills I asked her if she wanted to shoot the Blackhawk. In a happy coincidence, I caught her in full recoil with the camera.

I've noticed that when teaching young ladies to shoot, when they touch of the big .44, they get insane giggles. It's quite heartwarming.

Okay, you knew someone would submit they're Heritage Rough Rider!

What I really love about this gun is (you'll all think I'm nuts), I love the FIXED sights. The gun is accurate enough without having to be making adjustments and second guessing.
