Assuming I do, the photo shows (top) my Ruger 5.5" Single Six in .22 with the extra .22 Mag cylinder, and (bottom) my Ruger 5.5" Super Blackhawk in .44 & .44 Mag.
Rclark...NICE SHOOTING! And yes, HS-6 is a great powder. I use H-110 to really crank up the velocity, but HS-6 really does pretty much everything one could ask for in a 45 colt
By Parisite; This is the only single action revolver I've ever had. Bought it used off a gun forum on the internet. I wanted to see what all the hype was about.
So...have you figured out what the hype has been all about?? SA's are a breed all their own, I sure love the ones I've acquired thus far.
Here's mine. Starting with my pair-o-Ruger long barrel SBH 44's...
One is an unfired IHMSA tapered barrel gun, with matching wooden case...
The other is a tapered barrel "standard" 10.5" gun that is by far one of the "most fun" guns in my collection thus far. It goes along with me for every range trip...I love it! It rests in it's own special place...yes, my guns get pampered, I don't care.
My other two are long barrels, too. Maybe one of these days I'll give a "snubby" 7.5" SA a try, just for kicks.
First is this .375 SuperMag (love this gun), a Seville made by United Sporting Arms in the 80's. Not a common gun, but well worth the chase...
The other is an IHMSA marked Seville in .454 Magnum (Casull). There are only 5 known to have been manufactured in this caliber...
Here's the pair together, shortly after I whittled out a pair of fat wood grips for the .454...
Here is my pride and joy, my Ruger Blackhawk .41 Magnum. What a nice feeling in the hand she gives. I carry her as a companion, when Bowhunting far from home in a Bianchi Lawman Holster. Gotta love those Rugers!!!
That shiny thing looking thing above it, I think it's a H&R, or Iver Johnson, something like that, I forgot...
