Should trooper be fired?

I am not a KKK supporter but do support everyones right to freedom of speech even those I disagree with.

Here are the Knights party Goals.

Will somebody please point out what illegal acts this group is performing? If these are illegal then they should be kicking out any trooper with a political party affiliation. I agree with abitrater.

The Knights Party as the political PARTY of the future and the Last Hope for America. The Knights Party, realizing that to achieve true security for our people we must achieve political power in the United States, will:

A. Become the leader of the White racialist movement

Through a strong organized show of leadership

Through the training and use of qualified media representatives

Through a concerted effort of all Klansmen and Klanswomen to carefully follow instructions, suggestions, and guidelines as set by headquarters and to continually strive to be THE BEST

B. Strive to become the representative and driving force behind the White Community


Through an aggressive use of television, radio, and print advertising

Through huge nationwide literature drives in which millions of people are reached with our literature.

To legally break through the liberal wall that surrounds America's colleges and universities - to reach and instruct students in the reclaiming of their schools.

Through the effective use of project committees to assist in the re-education of law enforcement agencies and the educational establishment. These two very important groups must be given another side of the story instead of only receiving information from organizations such as the ADL, NAACP, or ACLU

C. Organize and direct white people to a level of activism necessary to bring about a political victory.

Through the organizing and maintenance of strong local units.

Through bold public relations campaigns focusing on two main ideas:

The White Christian people have been betrayed by our nations political, economic, educational, and religious leaders

The Knights Party is the last hope for America.

Through the aggressive and combined effort of Knights' units (The core of the grassroots movement) to work within their community in all aspects of a political campaign, including but not limited to:

Getting literature into the hands of everyone in the community.

Keeping the name "The Knights Party" in continual high profile.

Sponsoring ads in local newspapers and on local radio and television networks.

Working on petition drives to achieve ballot access for Klansmen or Klanswomen who run for either local, state, or federal offices; such as school board, mayor, state representative, congress, senate, etc.



Conducting community goodwill projects.

Organizing and working on "get to the polls" campaigns, to insure that everyone who will vote in our favor can have the opportunity to do so.

Recruiting new associates and volunteers for The Knights Party who will work toward the election of Klansmen and Klanswomen to public office.

We must take back control of OUR U.S. government. We intend to put Klansmen and Klanswomen in office all the way from the local school board to the White House!

WHAT IS OUR GOAL ?

I will always think it's wrong and that we are "twisting words" to make them fit the outcome we want on both sides and has much as I want to say Of'Course Fire him, I guess it would be wrong has long as he can seperate
On-Duty from Off-Duty and work with any partner from any Race or background and it doesn't interefere with work.

BUT

I still don't like and think it's wrong. I do see your point though and the above post made me think of Hitler for some odd reason.

They do not mention overthrowing the governemnt by violent means, killing or attacking others, They want to elect KKK members to positions in government using political power.

Tell that to the blacks who were victims during the KKK "hanging parties" around the time of Emancipation. Tell that to the blacks who were forced to deal with gun control laws, bigotry, and racism because their former "massa" is now afraid of their freedom. Let's not forget the good old "Jim Crow Laws". :barf: :barf: :barf: I'll bet you anything that if they ever by some freak chance took over, a good portion of minorities would be eradicated in some way. The KKK changed its outward appearance in order to progress themselves into a better position.

For starters how about racial discrimination in a political party?

I have the same distain for this group that I have for the black panthers, the nation of islam. If some booger eatin' moron wants to participate in these groups he/she should be prepared to accept the consiquences of his/her actions. If he lost his job because he was out playing with crosses and fire, maybe he can get a job with the klan making crosses and matches.
 
Having worked for awhile in a DA's office, police, and DA's are held to a higher standard. Why? They represent the government, and, the government has tremendous POWER.
Someone with beliefs that would join the KKK should not be in a position to use that sort of power. The government needs to monitor, and get rid of people that believe in principals that are contrary to upholding the Constitution. The KKK is CLEARLY a racist organization, and, we have a number of Constitutional amendments that protect us from racism, FROM THE GOVERNMENT. Having a government official, who by his participation in one of the oldest racist groups in America, indicates his views, is contrary to his oath of office, and he should be terminated.

The standards for government officials HAVE to be higher then for your average citizen, because they weild the hammer that is our government.

Hmm, didn't Democratic Party members pass most of those laws in the south and resist efforts to repeal them? Blacks as a whole today tend to vote Democrat. Does this mean that they support being second class citizens??? Sorry, your logic fails.

If there are clan members (Or anyone else for that matter.) going around burning the homes of blacks, by all means go and send them to jail. However our freedom of speech and association that we have means that we are going to have to put up with people we don't like. We have to put up with groups like Greenpeace, PETA, MADD, Scientology, and the KKK. We also have to judge people individualy and not simply by what groups they belong too. You can't simplify a persons life into a paragraph and judge them by it.
 
I am not member of anything other than the nra, so I can't really see the difference between kkk and the naacp, so if I support the rights of one, don't I have to support the rights of the other? Maybe I'm wrong here but as long as he isn't breaking the law, doesn't he have the right to free speech? Personnally I don't like the idea of Law Enforcement being involved in either organization but when does my opinions infringe upon someones rights ? IMHO

I would agree with you accept the NAACP doesn't try to market themselves as a political party. They are political "advocates", but don't say they are a political party. To me that means they must follow all of the laws of government and you just can't discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age etc in government......but that wouldn't really fit in with their views now would it?
Anyone want to volunteer to be the first black guy to go to a Knights Party meeting and ask for a membership packet?.........didn't think so:rolleyes:

I didn't say get rid of the KKK. I was making a rebuttal to an earlier statement where the comment was to the effect of, "They do not mention overthrowing the governemnt by violent means, killing or attacking others" I was citing the history of the KKK as a violent group in the past, and did acknowledge that they have changed into more of a political group.(I stated that indirectly.) I do understand that even groups we don't agree with have rights too, as long as they are not violent. As for this officer being fired, anyone hear about that racist lawyer a few years back? Makes me wonder why they're allowed to be in such positions. I do agree that if anyone does decide to work for the government they have to live with choices both publically and personally whether they like it or not.

1. He did NOT belong to the klan, he joined a discussion forum on the net that is affilliated with the clan. A fine distinction, but a distinction nonetheless.
2. The review board found no instance where he did anything wrong in carrying out his duties.
So evidently his visiting this websight did not impair or even impact his ability to do his job. I also believe he stopped going there quite some time ago. As this is happening in my Neck of the woods I expect to hear more about it tomorrow. Lord knows it burned up the radio show today. ERIC

According to a copy of Caffera's ruling, Henderson was interviewed by a patrol captain in February. He confirmed he had been a member of the Knights Party since June 2004 and made postings on its members-only Web site while off-duty.

Henderson also said he had joined the KKK, according to the arbitrator's report. He did so, he said, for two reasons: His wife had "divorced him for a minority" and the KKK gave him an avenue to vent his frustration.

In the article posted on CNN he says he was a member. But CNN has been wrong in the past.
 
Could be. If so they're not saying it on the local. Like I said I'll likely be hearing alot more about it. We have a great morning call in show locally. I call alot:D What can I say? see can of sh*t, See stick, Stir.:D

He's not a government official. He's an employee, just like the guy that reads my water meter or plows the snow in the winter.
