Spahrtan; I respect the way in which you have expressed you views; although I do disagree with quite a few of them.
As to this:
I can't justify refusing emergency care to those who need it, and further, preventative care is cheaper to give out than emergency care.
Evidently you have never been on a stretcher with life threatening injuries, yet had delayed surgery because of over crowded hospitals that are literally packed to the brim with illegals.
Because of my racing motocross for so long; I've had quite a few visits to the hospital (13 broken bones; including a compound fracture of the femur and tibula at the same time).
I have had a wrist that was in the shape of an "s", yet still waited in the waiting room behind illegals who's kid had a bad cough; and since they don't have insurance to go to a regular doctor's office; they go to the emergency room where they have to be given treatment.
I live in So. Cal; the illegals are so abundant I could throw a rock and hit 50 of them. They have taken over neighborhoods, with 5 families to a house. The crime that follows drives the rest of the neighbors out of town or out of state.
They undermine American workers; since they don't have to pay taxes, they work for less. And none of this BS of how they are doing the work Americans won't. I believe we had agriculture before illegals; back before tractors where highly advanced and much manual labor was required.
I also don't buy when people say it would be impossible to round them up. Hitler rounded up millions of people. I'm not advocating we do anything like he did to the illegals. I'm just saying it is possible to identify and detain that many of a particular culture.
Deport them. It's that simple. We can put a man on the moon; but we can't put an illegal in Mexico?
