By its very nature, diplomatic efforts to enlist the cooperation of Arab governments in the war on terror must be kept quiet. For one thing, the anti-American propaganda machine that has made the Arab street hate America so much makes it impossible for many governments to openly help us and remain in power. Yet they recognize that Al-Qaeda and its fellow-travelers in international terrorism pose as grave a threat to them as to us, and so we have nations helping us, at grave risk to themselves.

The point is that irresponsible politicians like Kerry are free to make false accusations against President Bush -- about how he is distracted from the real war, etc. -- and they know he can't answer, because he cannot prove how well the war is going without exposing and, probably, ending secret cooperation from Muslim governments.
In other words, Kerry is free to be irresponsible, dishonest, and unfair precisely because he knows that President Bush puts national security ahead of his own political advantage.

That's amusing; forged Iraq-Niger documents, false testimony before Congress - repeated by presidents, a murky world of billions changing hands for drugs and arms, and some of the "most wanted" given asylum here and in the U.K. Where do "friendly" client states end - and Muslim government intelligence services and Al Kidya's friends inside our lines end?

About six weeks prior to the war in Iraq, FNC ran a short story in the middle of the day about WMD's. One of the things that they showed was a sattellite image of a convoy of over a dozen identical big rigs rolling in the sand towards the Bekaa Valley.
Remember during the build up to the war AND the war itself, where there were all sorts of 'retired military' coming on and explaining things.
In this report, an ex-Spec Op guy was on, explaining that these trucks, AT THE VERY LEAST had major weapons systems in them, perhaps 'even WMD'S'. He also said something like, "But don't worry, our (Spec Op) guys on the ground will follow them to their hiding hole.
THAT STORY RAN EXACTLY ONCE AND I NEVER SAW IT AGAIN. ANYWHERE. NOT FNC, NOT ANYWHERE.
SO, WMD's in Bekaa Valley, being watched by Spec OP AND overhead Keyhole sattellite?
Makes sense that IF there were WMD's that were removed from IRAQ, would we want to TIP OUR HAND that said WE KNEW where they went? And IF we take on SYRIA next (controls Lebanon), IS THAT when we roll up WMD's?
How about the REST of Sadaams family and the REST OF THEIR MONEY? It's currently ALL IN SYRIA.
I don't know. I just know that the MIDDLE EASTERN ARABS are eventually going to attack us again, on our soil. PROBABLY SOMETHING BIG. And when (not if) that happens, the middle east will glow in the dark for about 135 years.
It's truly a bitch to wake 'THE SLEEPING GIANT' that is the USA.
And I have a QUESTION FOR EVEYRONE. IF we ARE the GREAT SATAN, as ISLAMICS PROFESS WE ARE, how stupid are they, messing with SATAN? Won't SATAN just mess them up?
