Ruger LCR 3"

The only thing I do know from Rugger is that even though I send them a letter once a month about building a 5 shot SP101 in 44 special all I get back is a thank you letter.

Because it's physically impossible to fit 5 rounds of .44 special in the same cylinder that can only fit 5 rounds of .38 special. Maybe a 5 shot GP100 would work.

I feel this would be a good gun for ruger to bring back the .327 fed in. They possibly could squeeze in 6 shots too like the old sp101.

Just thought I would give a short field report on an LCRx3 that I've had for a few months and use as a kit gun for camping etc. Took it on the turkey hunt in the Rockies a couple months ago and with it being so light I forgot it was there even with all the hiking and ATV rides (plus some early morning stalks). However when a couple of pot guts presented themselves it had no problem dispatching them. Plus, the new 38+p Outdoorsman rounds from Buffalo Bore can achieve near 357mag muzzle energy, if needed. It's a great kit gun and definitely a keeper. Love the extra fps the additional inch gives and love the adjustable sights. Plus the looks are growing on me.
