Which is the better deal?

A new blue Bearcat for $ 499.00

or a like-new Stainless Bearcat for $ 395.00?

does the new blue have a brass trigger guard ?

This around sounds untrue, but it is true. Back around 1960 when Bearcats first came out, my Dad bought one for me as gift. He had a FFL. The price of the new gun was $28 and change. I saw the invoice and know this is true. (I used to have the invoice and may still have it with some old gun papers) I still have that revolver and no, it is not for sale. It has not been updated.
