Roll call.

Washington DC, At least one bus from eastern NY and individual carloads through out the state, If the claims hold true.

To those who are scepticle be aware these rallies do work and are worthwhile. A well organized serries of rallies in response to an anti-gun group trying to shut down the gun and ammo sales at the Riverhead Big Kmart on Long Island has been very succesful so far. The anti-gun group was a no show at 'their' last event.

I am gonna be at Patriots square in Phoenix Arizona fighting for our Rights (like a true Patriot).

I have organized a small cadre of friends to come. I will be driving 6 hours each way and missing valuable class time, but I know that numbers count, and I am bringing about half a dozen people.

To others out there: if you won't get off your lazy ass to go speak up for your Rights, then you deserve to lose them.
Me? I ain't gonna go down without a hell of a fight and this is just one battle in the war.

Subject: Virginia Update

Hi all,

A quick briefing on the situation in Virginia:

- We've got buses coming in from the Chesapeake/VA
Beach area that are being funded by a shooting club
down there. Mainly the club members are using them,
but the available seats are quickly being filled by
others who are interested in attending.

- The Richmond City Council donated about a dozen
buses to the MMM's. While the gun owners down there
protested this misuse of taxpayer dollars, the Council
hasn't budged. Thus, I suspect several SAS members
will be on those buses.

Interviews:

- Another volunteer and I have an interview tonight
with another French news magazine (Marie Claire) at
the local range. I'm not giving any American media
the opportunity for pics at the range after seeing the
hatchet job from CBS last night, but foreign doesn't
worry me.

- A 15 minute taped interview on WMZQ 98.7 FM (Country
Music station heard in metro DC) is scheduled for
tomorrow morning. Also, WMZQ will start playing our
PSA's this week, though they had to be bullied into it
by local gun owners.

- Finally, there's a 60 minute live interview on Diane
Rehm's show on National Public Radio WAMU 88.5 FM on
Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m. They said that John
Lott will also be on via phone (I'll be at the studio)
and possibly David Koppel out of Colorado.

NPR will interview the Million Mommies from 11-noon on
Friday. You can listen online at http://www.wamu.org/
and their phone number is 202-885-1200.

I'll be in DC. Hope to see some of you there. Anyone have any ideas on how we can get together? Don't have my TFL t-shirt yet.

Can any Chicago-area TFL member provide guidance as to what surface streets to use in order to travel east from I-55 to Grant Park North Garage? Thanks for your consideration.

Joe Brower,

Thanks for the California info. I'll be traveling in So. Cal. and will try to make it to L.A. on the fourteenth.

Well it looks like I don't have to worry about an AP or IB exam the day after so I MIGHT be able to make it. The problem will be getting transportation to the metro seeing as how I don't have a car and I might have a problem convincing my sheeple and Democrat step-dad to give me a ride to the metro station. Still, I'd like to know where I could fit in during the event just in case I can make it.

Remember, just because you are not paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you!

Just got back from a local meeting of a MD gun rights group. There is supposed to be a gathering of SAS-AIMM folks at the Greenbelt Metro station. No one had an exact time. I will try to get details and post them. I will probably be leaving from the Wheaton/Glenmont metro around 8:00.

Erik:
I can forward you the info I got regarding the Denver march if no one else already has (I believe it starts at noon)

I'll be the one with a cowboy/confederate officer's style grey hat and the purple tee shirt that says "You learn gun safety from the NRA. You learn gun violence from NBC". If it's windy, I'll wear the brown fedora style in leather hat. My wife wears a red tee shirt that has the Nazi, Chinese, and Russian symbols with "The experts agree... gun control works" emblazoned in bright yellow.

Look for us.

Bringing myself and three others from Hampton Roads, VA to the Belly of the Beast. I'll be the tall, good-looking guy with the Tyranny Response Team t-shirt. :)
