Rigged USA Elections Exposed!

I'm with you on that 110%, as long as you're with me on requiring photo ID's when voting as well.

I have no problem with that at all with that one, as long as the photo ID requirement is flexible enough to ensure that everybody of voting age is likely to possess one. In other words, if you are going to require a photo-ID voting card and then make the hours during which you can obtain one business hours only, then I won't support that.

But if you allow Driver's Licenses, Passports (everything can be done online except being handed the passport itself, and that's available on Saturdays), CCWLs, or any other document that's illegal to forge, then I'm OK with it as well.

What I don't want to see is a requirement that makes it necessary to inconvenience any group (say, employees) over any other group (say, business owners) in order to be eligible to vote.

I'd even go one further and have an IrisScan at every polling place so that a second look could be given to any apparent double-dippers.

I don't like rigged elections. That doesn't mean that I hate bush, or that I hate democrats. It means that I don't like corruption and lies.

springmom, I agree with you, especially about the lack of decent candidates.

As an aside, did you ever hear how LBJ got the nickname "Landslide Lyndon"? When Johnson was running for the US Senate, he was losing badly and the ballots from one county, controlled by two brothers, was the only one that hadn't come in.
When the ballots from that county were finally counted, the votes were unanimously for LBJ and gave him the victory. A newspaper reported that not only did everyone in that county vote for Johnson, but they were courteous enough to vote in alphabetical order.

Wasn't it our own Jim March who helped break the story about the California Dems having a direct line into Diebold's electronic voting system during one of the elections?

It was indeed, but that doesn't support the liberal contention of a Repub/Diebold evil empire factory, so it's conveniently ignored. Standard MO there.

Frankly folks, if anyone here truly believes that both parties don't take whatever advantage they can, when they can, you're seriously deluded. And to sit here and wag your finger at one without wagging it in turn at the other, is blatant hypocracy and ignorance of the true nature of the beast.

Or to put it in a more common vernacular, "politics as usual".

Hey BadBob:
That was the infamous ballot box 13, from Duval County. The "Duke of Duval" was County Judge Archer Parr, and that is who helped bring in the suddenly discovered ballot box.

It was stored at a bank after the results were reported, and Coke Stevenson and a Texas Ranger (I think it was Frank Hamer who accompanied Mr. Stevenson) went down to Duval County and wanted access to inspect it, and they were actually turned away from even having a look at the contents.

Later there were all types of jokes made about that issue, since about thirty percent of the voters in the box had died, and were not alive during the election. So it was a pretty good trick to not only vote in exact alphabetical order but they joked that everyon loved Lyndon so much, thirty percent of the Ballot Box 13 voters came back from the dead to help him. :)

I'm going to toss this one around in my head a little while before I make any in-depth responses. On the singular issue, it's a bit maddening. Over a much larger spectrum of possibilities, things are looking pretty grim. I'll come back to this thread later.

Thanks Gary, it's nice to have the full story. That was a long time ago! As we say in Ga., much obliged.:)

My take?

The Democrats have suddenly realized, much to their horror, that the Republicans have become VERY good at election fraud.

It's a game that the Democrats owned on a national level for many, many years, and now they're just whining because they no longer are the champs.

Shades of Boss Tweed, Hinky Dink Kenna, Bathhouse John Coughlin and all the rest of the Democratic vote buyers :)

Fraud is so less colourful these days

I would get more upset about this if stealing elections weren't a time-honored American tradition.

Drinking, drug use, racism, ect... also seems to be American traditions so I guess we should just turn a blind eye to them? It is illegal and violates the spirit and letter of the Constitution. The Second Amendment is also a part of that same Constitution and the BOR. If you get upset that someone tries to take away your 2A rights you should also get angry when they tamper with the other amendments and voting rights. That package should be considered as a "all or none" deal. If they take out the other 9 the 2A is going down too. Voting is one of the ways that we keep our 2A rights or the NRA and other pro gun organizations wouldnt bother keeping the public informed.

One vote, one person should be the standard regardless of the voting media. Voting is the backbone of democracy.

"Hate" is an overused word.

"As a Democracy lover ..." There's your problem right there. This is a republic. Contrary to what's taught in gov't schools today and despite the desires of some in politics.

President Bush is the President because....

He won more electoral states than Gore and Kerry. That's it. No fraud. No scheme by Karl Rove [ KARL ROVE!], or by aliens, or oil executives, or even the guys who make voting machines.

The Democrats just can't seem to understand that President Bush won, plain and simple. Sour grapes. Something else to complain about. ;)

Yes, it does. I do not disagree in the least. However, there was a sense that the very survival of the republic is threatened, which I think overstates.

And, not to be overly pedantic, but I have no idea who that guy was, actually; I have no idea to whom he was speaking (although I did hear the word "Congressman" used, I believe, in addressing one of the panel members); I have no idea what the agenda was of those holding the hearing, the real expertise of the guy who spoke, or whether this was really all a stunt by a bunch of actors. Once again, videos that purport to educate us, if not legitmate, are just as bad as no info at all. Maybe worse.

If you make the statement "there is and always has been, instances of voter fraud in our country" I would agree, although yes, I deplore it. But I'm not taking this as gospel unless I get some sort of further evidence that this was done.

Of COURSE the election was rigged! Everyone thinks like a Liberal (or should), and as superior intellects - there is NO way a vast majority didn't vote for us. We are elitists, so it COULDN'T be us OR our message, so we HAD to lose due to fraud (or people are really as dumn as we think they are and just don't get it).

OK - the guy was a programmer - so how does that make him an expert on exit polls???

If both sides did cheat - then the election results were correct after all! Or what if Kerry WAS winning, and the democrats had rigged the results and he ended up losing?

Wow!!!

Elections are rigged!?!?! Who would have thought that the honest and trustworthy politicians of our country would fix an election? The Democratic slogan in my area of the country is "Vote early and vote often";)
It's amazing how many people in Northern Illinois crawl out of the grave every year to vote.

1. Why is it that EVERY conspiracy theory that comes along is by Liberals? Voter fraud, cheap gas prices, 9/11 etc...
2. What will you say if the Democrats win the House or Senate? I'm sure this theory will disappear like the others.
3 Don't you think every Liberal news outlet---CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC etc...would be all over this story IF there were any shred of evidence? I remember after 2004----your friend Olbermann was all over a potential "fraud" happening in Ohio--and they would stay on the story until the truth cameout---well when the truth DID come out---the story---because it didn't fit his agenda--disappeared.;) Funny for like 4 nights straight it was his lead story and then poof, it was gone with no "oh we were mistaken" or "there was no evidence after all"!
