I wanna be (and am qualified for) Software Engineering Development Manager. My sister's a transportation expert (i.e. trucking, brokering, etc.), if we need that. My mother's got experience as a raw materials purchasing manager. My uncle is a Vietnam vet (officer type); he'd make a good liason to the military.

But seriously, I could invest a few grand in buying the company.

Bluesman, I'm honored that you would pick me for merchandising. I didn't even think of that, but I am good at mechandising stuff to other gunnuts. :D
 
No one has yet spoken for any positions in Quality Control. I would volunteer. Except I have extremely strick standards and would probably send back about 40%+ of firearms I have seen come out of S&W lately. Just my .02 - Think of Lew Horton quality, that would be my minimum quality standards.
 
You guys are not using FUD's best qualities. He belongs in QA. High awareness, and a knack for finding any potential snafus.

Ok, I haven't been here all that long, so I can't exactly pick who would be good for what position.
However, I can tell you what I'm qualified to do.
I'm a senior in Computer Graphics/3D animation, basically, I could do graphics work for advertising and such.
In addition, well, I've always wanted to design my own rifle...

I'll be more than happy to do the sweeping and light bulb changing as long as I can have plenty of time off during hunting season. If you need any help with boilers, explosives, beaver eradication, purchasing,whatever, let me know.

Before you set up your staff you need to move the plant operations down here to Texas. Anywhere would do but for real quality work I think somewhere near the Shiner brewery would be best from what I've seen on TFL.

I'll volunteer for the thankless job of CFO. :cool:

I would be intrested in a position. Have you thought about the other S&W lines? Knives etc. I'm qualified for the leo and fire and ems side of things. I'm a safety officer so I am leo certified, structure fire certified and a emt. I think we could start a whole new line somewhere in one of those areas.

On the other hand hey if ya need a janitor I'll do that too. Just as long as I get to work for a co. that will make weapons for the U.S in the U.S.

I'm no corporate paperworker type, but I have years& years of honest plant maintenance experience. I can figure out how to adjust just about anything! I'd just love to get into something like the FORMER *&*, except that NOTHING could convince me to move to taxachusetts!

Hmmmmmmm... How's about packing things up and moving out to `Colorful Colorado'!? I've got this small parcel, 164 acres, of land that we really aren't doing much with. And I'd gladly be a `live in' `Grounds Maintainence' person. I have quite a bit of the necessary equipment already on site but would willingly go with whatever was felt would be needed to `upgrade' if it was deemed necessary. (We'd also be able to help out `Security' as we have several very good `watch dogs', farm bred and raised, that would just love to have another job or two. I'd also be willing to take my pay in rent free living quarters, ammo, and plenty of time on the range(s).{BSE GRIN!}) I also have experience in food services and hotelery having run a motel, bar and restaurant in Dubois, WY for 20 or so years when I was younger.
