Red Bull Ate My LCP

I bet it was the Jägermeister in the Jägerbomb the OP was drinking...;)

From the Wikipedia -A shot glass of Jägermeister dropped into a glass of Red Bull energy drink makes a cocktail called a Jägerbomb.

Really???

I've got a 1911 Springer that I bought dirt cheap from a fellow worker. He had just bought the gun and had it on the floorboard of his truck. The blue plastic case was left open and his wife accidently spilled some coke into case. It was dark when he got home so he closed the case and took gun inside not knowing of the coke.
The next night when he opened the case, the parkerized finish had turned black everywhere the coke was at. I ended up buying the Springer for next to nothing. It won't clean off so I may experiment and paint coke on some of the rest of it. Maybe a camo effect.

Also, one of the best things to use to clean battery corrosion from a battery is coke.

Nah... it's not acidic
You miss my point. It's BS because even though it's acidic, it doesn't mean it's dangerous. We eat acidic things all the time. Like I said, there's citric acid in oranges. They even make cleaners with citric acid. As someone else pointed out, it's all about concentration.

jackblack, I've got a Ruger Blackhawk 45ACP cylinder at home that sat in spilled Coke for ' what she told me' was about a day. Bare spots on the cylinder, bluing gone. That is NO BS. Try it with one of your's. See ya' Bill
If you read my post again, there's a reason I mentioned citric acid. My point wasn't that Coke wouldn't dissolve bluing. I absolutely believe it will. My point was that it doesn't mean Coke is dangerous.

I guess I'm the one that got off point a little. It's just every now and then I get an email or someone posts about the dangers of Coke because it will eat a can or tenderize a steak or something. But just because it'll do those things doesn't mean it's dangerous or will kill you. Your stomach acid is stronger.
