progressive press or single stage ?

I do bell mine slightly more so the bullet does sit straight on the case mouth. You could try belling a little more

On a progressive do you still place the bullet, l thought they were fed from a tube
like primers. After I fire these 50 rounds, I will bell the case a little more. It was like old times reloading 45's again, don't know why I didn't do it sooner. My trimmer is set up for years for 308. At one time I was always changing from 38 SPL, 357, 44 SPL. 44Mag, 45 ACP & 308. Found 45auto cases easy to clean, sizing there's an extra step but its still nice

Yes.

Some presses have provision for automatically feeding and placing bullets on the case mouths, just as they do for primers at the case bases and cases into the shell holder/plate.

You can get almost any degree of automation you desire.

Lost Sheep

Google the phrase "bullet feeder"

Lost Sheep, would that auto system position the bullet better then hand positioning. Only asking do to a minor problem with my last loads, I didn't bell enough & seating the bullets some were off center, I could see it but I thought the die would square it up. even though they were fine in the case gauge. Will see how they shoot.
