Pony, Mustang, and Gov't. .380 copies- who will be the first?

And from a finance standpoint, why would Colt and Kimber enter the pocket gun market where they'd have to price their gun in the $200-400 range. Would not fit into their quality premium price position.

It ain't so much price as volume. The bucks-up pocket gun market is a small one, but Seecamp has no problems keeping a 6 month waiting list by keeping volume low and QC high.

Only so many folks are willing to shell out that much dough for a mousegun.

It just says "disconnect safety" on the website. If you say it doesn't mean mag disconnect safety I'll have to believe you. My point is that Colt will not re-release the same Govt. .380, Mustang and Pony we have seen in the past. They are too "dangerous."

Why not? My Mustang and Mustang PocketLite both have a manual safety and a disconnect safety, how are they more dangerous than any other handgun?

My Llama loaded with FMJ Blazer can shoot a pretty darn tight group.. Dare I say that that combo is as tight as my Kahr K40?? Ill bet it will be darn close.. Thats MY opinion.. :)

Dangerous? The Colt Mustang is a series 80 with a firing pin block, so if it's dangerous, so are all those 1911's!

Foot in mouth...but still smiling :D

You are absolutely correct......oops. Thanks, I sit corrected....

Shoot well

I saw an article recently where the new head of Colt is thinking about bringing back the 380 Govt. Models. He said that they were cheaper to produce than the Double action 380's. I have a Govt. Model 380 and am fond of it - flat - easy to carry and accurate.I would like to see more of the flatter gripped guns produced than the bricks with triggers.

And what is it with these cheap LLama guns and the cheap Blazer and Mag Tech ammo.

Come on now!

You can't expect performance out of that combo!

If that was tongue-in-check, ha ha very funny.

If that was serious, you don't know WTF you're talking about.

The problem with llama's is not just the accuracy factor but rather the piss poor reliability. I have yet to see one make it through a magazine without jamming even with ball ammo.
