Weaver

I've always gotten very good service from Weavers. They seem to me to be the best in terms of performance per price.

I have seveal Leo's and 3 Sightrons a couple Redfields (older models). I would have to say the Sightrons have been very good for me. I have a couples Nikons also and for the money about 100 bucks at Cabales the 3X9 Prostaff is a very good quality buy.

I recently ordered a Burris Signature Select 2.5-10.In the picture,it looked like it had a power ring seperate from the eyepiece.Unfortunately, that was an illusion.I do not like scopes where the eyepiece turns to change power.I returned it.Optics were fine.I replaced it with a Leu Mk AR.Happy!
I would give Redfield and Weaver a chance.
I will tell you of a scope that looks good on the website,is not terribly expensive, that I will probably try.Minox.
As exchange rates are not favoring the US dollar, very good scopes such as Valdada may become less affordable.

I votes for Zeiss or any of the other big doller scopes, because unless you put a $$$ restriction I can only assume that you may wipe your a$$ with 100.00 doller bills. So if money is no object then why not go for the best.
How ever if money does matter then Nikons are hard to beat.

I believe the six Leupold scopes I have are a very good value, but even if Leupold was an option, I'd choose Nightforce, Swarovski, Kahles, Schmidt & Bender or Zeiss depending on the use for the scope. I've shot a couple of bench rifles with Nightforce scopes and they are the BEST I have ever used. Schmidt & Bender has a superb reputation. Zeiss also has a great reputation. While I have never used a Swarovski or Kahles rifle scope, I have Swarovski SLC 10 x 42 and 8 x 30 binoculars, and Kahles 8 x 32 binoculars. The Kahles are only slightly larger than the Swarovski 8 x 30, but the Kahles are definitely superior despite costing a little less. The Swarovski 10 x 42 are terrific. If I was in the market for a hunting rifle scope, it would be a Swarovski, probably 30mm.

I chose Zeiss, because I have one and it's phenomenal.

I was looking at leupold mk4's and they were expensive. The Zeiss I got was not as expensive, and despite having just a 1" tube, I think it's as good if not better.

The glass on it is fantastic, bright and crisp in day time, and damn good at night too. I am very pleased with my scope, and look forward to many years of service from it...

From what I have used:
Nikon Monarch for medium price/good quality.
NcStar for low price/acceptable quality.
Simmons for low price/undesirable quality.

Well I guess you could say that since I chose "OTHER", and the OP didn't care to let us vote for Leupold, I'll vote Vortex. I'm going to purchase one for my .270 win, so maybe I should have picked Vortex, but I don't own one yet.:o I'm looking to put a 4x12x40 AO on the old 110. Cost is cool at 149.99 to 199.99, super warranty, and I hear great customer service. which is a plus.;)

I went with the Burris as I shoot a FFII (4.5-14x42 w/ Ballistic Plex). I wish I could afford the higher end ones, but for now the Burris definitely gets the job done! I shot an antelope at approx 340 yards last year, the ballistic plex is a great double check on your elevation.

Dollar for dollar, Mueller scopes are one of the best values out there. I've owned three and can only say good things about them.
