Pocket Pistol Other than LCP?

Strange that I can't find a quote option on this forum but I see others quoting people. :(

Anyway....

In response to marklmurray:

I've read that a few people say they are in their local shops as of a day or two ago. I haven't seen any arrive though.

Where did I get one from? I seem to have forgotten that information. ;)

I like the way we can quote here. Saves a lot of band width being able to copy and paste only what you want.

702Shooter: This is a vBulletin forum. It comes standard with a quote button. Yet, there isn't one here.

I've scratched my head quite a bit over this - and especially over such comments as

Microgunner: You need to use the "wrap [ quote ] tags around selected text". Second icon from right on the message tool bar.

because there were no icons anywhere...no mountains, no speech bubbles etc...until I figured out what was wrong.

To correct it:
Go to your User CP
then to Settings & Options
>Edit Options
>Miscellaneous Options
>Message Editor Interface
Set to Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls

And then you'll see all the icons everyone is talking about.

Even still - quoting somebody is clunky, you have to highlight, clip and paste the quote into your reply box, then highlight it again, then click the speech bubble icon to the right of the afore-mentioned mountain range.

Or - you could simply copy whatever you want, and write [q u o t e] (eliminating the spaces between the letters)
in front of it and
[/ q u o t e ]
(eliminating the spaces between the letters) at the end of the quote

as far as the original topic - chalk up another recommendation for the S&W BG380.

As far as the Colt 1903 is concerned, I own two of them. While I agree it is a gorgeous pistol and that it's sleek, it is a lot heavier and larger than many modern pistols which pack more punch in terms of stopping power than a .32

I'm also not sure I'd trust the safety mechanism on the old Colt Pocket Hammerless to prevent the gun from discharging if it was dropped. And, for my 54 year old eyes at least, the sights on the Colt are almost too small to see at all in broad daylight. I'd hate to think of aiming the thing in reduced lighting conditions.
