PMC Bronze and Wilson Combat CQB

I've had two Wilson Combat 1911's. A CQB and a Stainless Professional. I gave the CQB to my son and kept the Professional for myself. It has been my main carry weapon for over 15 years and has never failed to do it's part as long as I do mine. Like Desmosedici, my wife would have hung me up by my family jewels had I outright purchased the Wilson's, but I saved all the profits I make gunsmithing until I had enough to do so and she was OK with that. I've had multiple 1911's and still have a few other than the Wilson, even the best does not compare to the workmanship of the Wilson.

I have another son who did not want the CQB but wanted me to build him a commander sized 1911, so I found a raw frame and slide and bought all the fire control components from Cylinder & Slide and found a new Colt barrel. I sent it off to be cerakoted after I finished with it and he carries it every day.

This was the CQB that I gave to my son:
