Pictures of your reloading bench/equipment

Edward-

I think it is something I am going to pursue. There is a ton of info out the to sift through. I think i will start by picking up some of the required reading I have seen suggested. Thanks for the encouragement.

Dirt simple setup. Ignore the drums etc.

This is my setup. I still have the Rock Chucker and RCBS bench priming tool on a Frankford arsenal portable stand which works great and keeps the bench clear for other projects. I have only been reloading on this gear for a few months so I'm still figuring out what works best. I had a Rock Chucker as a teenager but sidelined the hobby for 35 years until recently. So far I'm reloading 7.62x54r, 7.62x39, .223 and .38/.357. I just bought the tools & components for 9mm. I have done about 2000 rounds so far in these calibers and now realize how much I missed this hobby! :D

reloading bench

Bama what model reloading bench is that from sears i like it a lot, is that a standerd model or did you put it together yourself :)

Redtail, I recognize those benches you are asking about... they sell them as "reloading benches" in the Midway catalog. Funny thing; they are identical to the bench I bought at Sears (must be made by the same factory, yes, in China) ... I believe the cost for the bench and the little hutch / pegboard part was cheaper than what Midway was selling their version for. The only difference is that the Craftsman bench comes with Craftsman stickers and is painted black instead of red. It's a good bench, I've got a Hornady LnL AP bolted down on one end and a Hornady LnL Classic bolted down on the other end. I can't tell from this photo, but I can also report that the craftsman version of this bench setup comes with a 2 tube flourescent light fixture in the top of the "hutch."

I'm also new to reloading. Just finished building the bench, and have added the limited supplies that I just got. The bench is basically made of 2x4s, and a couple of 2x6 and 3/4" plywood. It may not look the best, but it's sturdy. I'm looking forward to hours and hours of reloading. By the way, if y'all have any ideas of what else I should have on-hand, or that I need to change up, I'd appreciate the advice.

My first humble little spot:

It's not much, but I go slow and do one thing at a time so it's okay for now. I'm eyeballing some big solid wood desks up at the local thrift store. I just need to recruit a buddy to help me move one into my apartment.

Looks like it has been about 2 years since I posted a picture of mine in this thread, here is a more recent picture but it still is about a year outdated. It does show the new Loadmaster, but I also have the Turret press on the bench as well and have added a Lyman DPS 1200 to the works.

Wow! You guys have some amazing set-ups... I'm very envious. This a cool thread with lots of great ideas so I thought I'd keep it going.
I don't have dedicated room or even a safe place in my garage for a reloading station so I built this little box that I can bring in the house and store in a closet when not in use. Hopefully, I'll have a room someday.
Don't laugh... it's little.

Here's some pix of my "Man Cave"; it's located in the Warden's sewing room!

ManCaveintheWardensSewingRoom.jpg

My Thumler Tumbler & timer are in the 5gal bucket. It's used in the utility room. The metal basket goes on my luggage cart when I go to the gun show to buy lead bullets and other supplies. The cart paid for itself in the first 20ft.

Note the beam scale; it's close to eye level. The shelving unit, including the 4ft light cost $100. I told the Warden if she wants to "build" a cover for the front and side that's removable to have at it.

Here's my setup. It's funny, I was going to throw out this old bench that was sitting unused in my garage until I started reloading. Then it was perfect for the job because I could beat on it and drill holes in it, no problem!

My reloading corner is actually in the corner of my bedroom, lol. I just bolted my press and powder measure to a Frankford Arsenal stand I got from Midway. I just spin it around when I want to go from charging to using the press. Plenty of room (so far) and it doesn't get in the way. That and I have my laptop right next to the desk so I can access online stuff without having to get up.

New to Firingline.

Hello all,

This is my first upload using my cellphone camera, as you can tell.
I enjoy reloading .223, will get into 9mm at a later time.

I plan on using my good camera once I get use to this site. Enjoy
all of the god info, and cant wait to possibly share some of my own.

Later,
Slingblade
