Pick one caliber between .223 and .30-06

25-06. It does what i want to do and does it well. I have two 25-06's that regularly get field time. I also have a 270 that I've never bothered to shoot. Not saying any of the 270 fans are wrong in the least. Just saying my quarter bore makes me smile.

Some people will go small and fast (.243), others will choose big and slow (7.62x39 or .30-30),

x39 is small and slow (.311 123gr @ 2200)....

.30/30 is med and slow (.308 150gr@ 2300).....

Me, I like medium and fast.... (.277 150gr @2950)....
