... & people keep buying 22's

I must say, after all this time it's still been enjoyable reading all these opinions on the shortage.

Here in Oklahoma there has been very little on the shelves at the LGS' and Wally World (two in town). Yet, over the last 6 months I have been able to resupply at a fairly reasonable rate. I keep track of at least 6 different websites that follow inventory of different ammo business'.

I have been able to purchase several thousand rounds of CCI, Federal, Winchester, etc .22LR at between .05-.07 a rnd. But it takes a great deal of time. Fortunately, I'm retired. So, it's out there, its just a matter of how badly do you want it? The last month I've noticed a whole more availability so I believe (depending on where you live) that things may be improving, although prices are still higher than we would prefer.

Regardless, the ol' days are gone people. We will never see the prices of 10 years ago anymore. Might as well get use to it. Oh, and I couldn't resist. Had to buy one of those new Ruger Take down 10/22's. It is nice :D
