Most reliable?

Glock G17, G22, G23, G27, G21, G20, G30....
Sig 225, 226, 229.

I've owned every one of these guns, and fired a lot of rounds through them. Never had a problem.

Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 mag.
You can drop it in mud, pick it up and shake it off,and it still fires perfectly.Try that with your Sig,Glock.

Second would be my Beretta 85F .380 no punch, but it has never failed me yet (world's greatest pocket gun?).

My Para P-14 limited I have had a few jambs but all were ammo related (I am a lazy loader and don't guage!) I can't think of a jamb that wasn't ammo related in the past
11,000 rounds!!!

My Italian made Beretta 92f. Never ever failed though it is not my favorite.

Short answer - Italian Beretta 92fs

Long answer - I've owned a few dozen handguns (mostly high quality NIB or excellent condition older models when purchased) and have fired mostly factory ammunition. I understand the importance of keeping a firearm clean and properly lubricated and that a break-in period is sometimes necessary. Also, I know how many shooter induced stoppages occur. Having got all that out of the way, I've had some bad "luck" with most of the handguns I've owned. Some problems have been worse that others, obviously. Even with revolvers I've had cylinder spitting, binding, sticky extraction, light hammer strikes, and more serious failures to fire. Although other guns of mine have performed satisfactorily, the Beretta was the only one I really tried to "jam". It ALWAYS fired and locked back on an empty magazine. It was also accurate and never rusted or gave me any other cause for concern. I foolishly traded it, however. :( Buying an expensive and/or highly touted firearm is no assurance of complete reliability and no two firearms are exactly alike. I now have greater trust in the 92 series pistols, though.

Kimber 5". My Glock, SIG, and even my S&W J-frame have all failed/broke at one time or the other. The Kimber is over 5000 rds and never a problem.

Without a doubt, my most reliable gun is my Ruger P95. :) It eats anything and everything I feed it, and doesn't complain. It goes bang when I want it to, and delivers the rounds on target. I have not shot my Walther P99 enough to make a firm determination on it's reliability yet. But testing continues!!! :)

Just as there is no such thing as too much fun,
there is no such thing as owning just one gun!!!

Now, go do the right thing, and buy that Walther!!

Only failure was when I took 1000 rounds of a particularly dirty load to the range just to see what it would take to jam the pistol. Right about 600 rounds later, I had a FTF. Too much gunk on the feed ramp. I love that pistol!

P7s. They've never malfunctioned. HK USP is a close second. It's never malfunctioned, but doesn't have the trigger time the P7s have.

Ruger P89
Ruger P95
A few less boxes thru the P95 than the P89.
I hit better with the P95.
Two flawless boxes thru a used Sig 230, looks like a winner, time will tell.
Had a bad Hungarian .380, Beretta 21 .25,
Bersa .380.

Glock 23: 10,000+ rounds, no failures ever.
I've never had any revolver fail.
My Kimber 5" S/S failed on the first round. We'll see how it works when I get it back.

1. S&W model 10 38 spl. (always works)
2. Inglas Browning Hi Power. (Had it for 30 years and never had a single problem)
3. Khar 9 (done a lot of shooting with it and it just keeps getting better)
