Not a .375 H&H, it was a .375 Winchester which uses the same basic brass as the .30-30. I do not believe that the H&H cartridge was ever chambered for a lever gun. It's awfully long and way too much cartridge for a model 94. Some H&H loadings have nearly twice the power of factory .375 Win. loads.

i believe it was a .375 H&H mag... and was told that they called it a bigbore 94... or it may have also said that on the gun... looked just like a lever action 30/30... cept the hole diameter.
