Other passions besides guns, like Corvettes?

416--I know it. But she loves me anyway and she's beautiful and she smells good and she always knows where I left whatever I happen to have lost . . . . . a Hell of a woman. And now she can shoot, whittle, raise a tent, split firewood, and build a fire.
She taught me a few things too, but this is a family forum. :D

BTW, my head was elsewhere above. Bladeforums is a great place but Mr. Levine's forum is actually at http://www.knifeforums.com

Other passions? Well let's see. My better half, the kids, 1969 Mustang Mach I, anything having to do with 4x4ing, music, automatic knives, and bartering. Oh, I really like candy, too. ;)

Martial arts and "clean" movement.

Writing.

I have wanted an International Harvester for years.

But not nearly as long as I've wanted a '68 or '69 Mustang. I'll "settle" for a 1969 Boss 429.

I like knives, but only ones I won't feel bad about wearing out.

I also like freestyle sparring. That is probably my first love.

As for cars, I have a love transferred from my father; 356's, Volvo 1800ES's and, most importantly, the most beautiful car ever made, the Sunbeam Alpine. IMO, of course ;)

Spectre, I hear you. Last summer I came SO close to buying a Scout. It was a beauty, painted dull forest green, with the top off and that cool 4-cylinder. Guy wanted $1800 for it.

I came so close you wouldn't believe it--but I still had a year of college + commuting left, and I would have had to sell my old dependable Caddy to afford it, so I'd have had to drive it every day and on those 4-hour commutes on the interstate. I bowed to practicality. :(

It's just as well, though. It was easy to tell the guy didn't really want to sell it. I bet he'll still have it ten years from now. If not, he'll probably be complaining bitterly about how he wishes he'd never let it get away!

Antique and balloon tire bicycles(1933-1941),
Richard Corben artwork, and Harleys and Indians.
Thats enough, besides the guns!

Road bicycle racing.
What's with all the Mopar nuts? I had a 72 Barracuda bracket/street car as a teenager, 13 years ago. Ran low 12.50s with a 340. 11.40 on the bottle. I had the factory rallye wheels widened and with the trim rings on them you couldn't see the screws through the beads of the slicks. Took money away from Chevy kids every weekend. :-)
