Gee, guys. You really make me feel OLD here.
When discussing "passions", mine were "Wine, Women, and Song"!
Okay, less on the wine.
In Germany, before I met my one-and-only, I tried to force the breweries to add night shifts! (My liver may never recover!) We chased frauleins when we were off duty (there were none at work) and played guitar whenever it was advantageous....
Now, however, wine, women and song have been replaced by Maalox, TFL, and griping. (sigh) Can't even go shootin' as often as I'd like. (Work IS the curse of the drinking class, er, I mean, "shooting fraternity"!

On the other hand, how many of you have driven a Ford Victoria sedan with a 427 (lightly blueprinted, bored, stroked, probable 3/4 cam, three-link cam chain, two 4 Bbls), *FOUR*-wheel drive, 4-on-the-floor, reinforced passenger compartment and bumpers (fore and aft), two shock absorbers at each wheel, Air Lifts, skid plates (fore and aft), more goodies, and a top speed well over 100 mph?
Didn't exist? Wanna bet? I drove it. Other factors made it a mixed blessing. The car was maintained by Germans but built and paid for with your tax dollars.
Weakest link was the tires. Aggressive off-road treads self-destructed at high, on-road speeds.
I believe there were three of them. They were replaced later with International Scouts, believe it or not.
