One Million Mom's for Gun Control - new anti-US Constitution movement

Yeah federal law is if you have a domestic violence on you you can't even touch a firearm. A lot of people got put out of the army for that very reason.

Federal law is a DV conviction, not an arrest.

I believe most courts still at least try to give the impression you're innocent until you're either convicted or plead guilty to a crime.

The 1 million misguided morons wanted to see anyone arrested for a DV, not convicted.

I can't post on fb for awhile because I kept posting this in as a comment to every article they had linked

"Why punish the many (Gun owners and fellow U.S. Citizens) for the actions of the few (Criminals)?"

I hope I'm wrong, but I can see Zuckerberg's little cronies engaging in censorship of the pro-firearm accounts. I'd like to be wrong.

Incident report reveals death threats made before a fatal shooting
Dec 27, 2012 11:03 a.m.

Abilene police have released the incident report and new information regarding Wednesday's fatal shooting on Minda Street in which a woman shot and killed her estranged ex-boyfriend after he allegedly broke in to her home and assaulted her and her child.

On Wednesday, police said 34-year-old Earnest Gonzales first tried to break into his ex-girlfriend, 35-year-old Lawanda Taylor's home on Christmas Day but fled when she called 911. They said he came back and succeeded in breaking in around 2 a.m. Wednesday and he allegedly assaulted Taylor while her 16-year-old and newborn child were present.

During the assault, police said Taylor retrieved her gun, which she legally owned, and shot Gonzales once in his side. Gonzales left the home and police found him in the front yard. He died at Hendrick Medical Center.

According to the incident report, Gonzales was making death threats before he broke into Taylor's home and he also assaulted one of Taylor's children.

"The victim [Taylor] then shot the suspect in defense of herself and her family," the incident report reads.

Police have ordered an autopsy on Gonzales's body and the case will go before a Taylor County Grand Jury for review. However, police said they do not expect any criminal charges will be filed against Taylor.

I know this would never happen, but how about One Million Armed March on Washington! that would send a message.

I was thinking something along the same lines but in a place that it would be legal to go armed or an unarmed march of gun owners on Washington. I would do it if I could scrape up the time and money, might even take the plastic off my dress blues for the occasion.
