I live in Mass and open carry is illegal. I see plain clothes LEO's carrying openly. I tend to mind my own business anyway.

Thanks for the post USP, you've inspired me to begin carrying openly. I have my application in for a CCW, but it has not arrived yet. Hope I handle myself as well as you did if in a similar situation.

If open carry is illegal, how do LEO and say armed security guards (as they don not get a LEO exemption) get to carry openly?
