This is why guys sand bag pistols to adjust sights and then when they are standing guns doesn’t shoot same and group as well. It’s because they hunch up when shooting off bags.

Measure from your shoulder to your neck. For me, that's about 4.5". That is the additional distance gained with the sideways stance vs. the gun in front of you (without hunching up).

So it adds some 3- 4-5 inches, depending on body size, from your eye to the front sight.

Might make a difference, for some folks...
