NRA Stickers - Theft Deterrent or Theft Invitation?

Easy on the racial comments.

Should be as careful as possible in your own security.
No need to advertise your possessions for the sheer pleasure of bragging.

You should be more careful with guns; they have extra appeal to criminals.... more than the dollar value.

I just dont get the point . Every day of the week here you see not only NRA stickers but the actual firearms in countless cars and trucks its like dont leave home without it . We have all the common crime you would expect to see anywhere but no break ins or robberys targeting firearm owners . I could see where there would be a crime ring looking for firearms but would they not prefer to hit Gun Shops . We took precautions for that when I worked in a Gun Shop . But they would not be most of the criminals . Read the arrest reports and drugs and alcahol are the main contributors to crime .

Many places the NRA is fiercely hated, at the minimum you may get your paint scratched.
There's many reasons not to do it.

I used to have NRA stickers, but I took them off two or three years ago. But not as a concern for thieves. Mainly for those that have opposing political views.

I have a family member that works at a large hospital, and dares not to have anything gun related on the car or Facebook.... And has to hide political affiliation, or pretend to hold another.

It's not just about crime, sometimes just to keep your job, or avoid unwanted attention.
