My selling/buying binge is finally over: Results inside.

i am super jealous. i am a student and can't afford much:( but the time will come when i can. thanks for sharing. gives us young guys something to aspire to!

Playboy,

About the only thing I can question is the XD for the HK. As much as I've tried to like HK's (and Sigs) most of their grips just don't work for me. I'd have kept the XD.

That Bisely had to be hard to part with - it's beautiful. But you did end up with an excellent 1st year Model 66.

I have a Kahr K-9 and other than it's weight, it's a fine little gun. The trigger on mine is smooth and consistent every time. It feels like a good DA wheelgun trigger.

BillCA,

The Bisley was hard to part with. It is a beautiful gun. I just do not see myself shooting it because it is not stainless and custom grips cannot be found for it. :(

I love the H&K. It is a great gun...of course so was the XD. If it hadn't been for the fact that the XD is still on the market and the stainless H&K is not, I might not have done that swap. :)

It is pretty much over. I was only able to make these purchases by selling things I already had. As of now, I do not have anything left that I would part with.

PBP,

Did you trade them in for store credit or sell them to individuals? Just wondered b/c I might trade in a few at the shop & wondered if it would be worth it. Selling to an individual is nice but takes alot of work IMO.

I sold to individuals. I go back and forth on which way I prefer. You do get more money, especially in this market, selling to an individual...but it is more hassle and more of a risk. :)

I like all the upgrades, but even though I have no use for .380 I think I wouldn't have been able to sell that Beretta just cause I think it is a really appealing pistol, industrial design wise .

What's the difference between the Razorback and the Valor?

What's the difference between the Razorback and the Valor?
The RZ-10 is 10mm and the Valor is .45acp, the RZ-10 is stainless and the Valor is stainless with a ceramic coating, the Valor has the standard slide and the RZ-10 has the ridgeback style slide, and the Valor also has slim grips where the RZ-10 has standard thickness. I am sure there is more, but that is what I know off the top of my head and I cannot get their website to load right now.

"My selling/buying binge is over."

:D yea,right. :D

Great turnovers there.

The only one that makes me wince is that beautiful Ruger SBH getting away from you.

But the Anaconda does'nt require you to punch out every round after you fire it and it's a dern classic.

Still,of all the guns you let go,that Ruger sure was purty.

Great stuff and selling sure beats shelling out the extra three grand you likely would have had to put out to get the guns you bought.

Glad you are satified.

Selling a Springfield for a Colt-I especially like that one. :D

gotcha, thanks, and sorry I was too lazy to look this up myself but I figured you would have done the research already :)

Are you sure you want to go with another 10mm given the current ammo prices?

Wow -- looks like a total revamp & upgrade -- I would have kept a couple of the ones you got rid of, but still a nice revamp;)

Excellent pictures as always, there are some very nice firearms came and went, I just wish I was the one to get that Walther p99. Just curious why was the Walther trade bait?

Holy cow on a stick Playboy... You've got more guns then I could imagine ever owning. Nice on both sides of the deal. You win the Powerball down there:D? I play it everytime I go see dad or mom but haven't hit it big yet. When I do you'll know... But I'll only be posting what I've bought the first week!
