So sorry, Son. He's not gone -- just moved on to the next plane. And he'll never be old or tired or in pain again. Then, someday, you'll find him sitting next to you when you're alone. Smile .. and have a chat.

Son,
My condolences. I lost my grandfather a little over a year ago. He knew he was dying, but tried in vain to hold out 'til he could see his great grandson born. On the day we buried him, we brought his g. grandson into the world.
The loss of him was painful. He taught me my respect for the constitution, my love of life, and my enjoyment of firearms. I will miss him like you will miss your grandfather. There isn't anything I can convey to you to express my regret at hearing of this tragedy. May your trip be a safe one. I'm so very sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.

Matt and I extend our deepest sympathy for your loss. May your pain and grief pass swiftly away, leaving you and your family with bright and cherished memories of your grandfather.

Johnny

Remember his words; and keep his spirit close, Son.
My prayers are with him.

Son, We are so sorry to hear about your grandfather. If you had returned, you would not have let your grandfather down, he would have been very proud of you. Let us know if we can help in any way. We'll keep you in our thoughts.

ArmySon, you have my deepest sympathies. And please know that you were perfect to your grandfather, regardless of your flaws. A parent's love can only be matched by that of a grandparent, and both are incomprehensible to us who have no children. You might have been apart in distance, but you were always near his heart. And, obviously, he to yours. In nearly every faith on the planet it is taught that those who pass on before us are still with us. Take comfort in the knowledge that you and he are closer than ever before.

Son, I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather, please accept my condolenses to you and your family. Have a safe trip to Vietnam.
