My grandfather, who still lives in Vietnam, just passed away 5 minutes ago
I haven't seen him since I was a child. I immigrated to the United States when I was close to 5 years old. Since then, I kinda lost touch with my grandparents They always pictured me as this perfect grand child. I never went back because I didn't want to let them down Now I really regret it. He told my mother before he died that I was his favorite grandson even though I was so far away.. damn
Those of you fortunate enough to have grandparents here in the states, embrace and cherish every moment with them.
Sorry mods since this post is off-topic. Delete it if you wish but I had to just tell somebody. I might be gone for a month to Vietnam for the funeral.
