Must have pistol for 550$ or below

A lot of the suggestions made so far would be tough to find new for under $550. $550 and under in the used market covers a LOT of makes/models.

There's no such thing as a "must have" pistol in the abstract. What are you looking for, specifically?
 
I'm looking for a general use pistol. Mostly shooting paper. Home defense/truck gun. And maybe add it to my CCW rotation. I have a PF-9 and M&P 9C for CCW. So I don't really neeeeeeeeeeed another CCW gun. Maybe something to throw on a Fobus when walking around my farm????
 
If you have that many 9mms and an SP101, then there's no such thing as a "must have." Buy whatever you want.
