Most disappointing/surprising pistol you've bought

Most Dissapointing: Glock 23 - It didn't feed reliably, and for some strange reason the trigger pinched my finger. (I guess I have a fat finger that got pinched between the bottom of the trigger and the trigger guard. Although I didn't have that problem with a G30 I used to have nor my G34 that I have now.)

Most surprising: HK P7M8 - I had heard good things about it, and surprisingly it was just as good as the hype...

Wow! I'm amazed at how many people hate their Sigs! Especially their P229s!

Most disapponting: Sig P230. I love the gun, but it cuts the web of my strong hand (Just like the PPK!)

Most surprising: Sig P239 in .357Sig and HK USP .45. Both are amazingly accurate.

Oh, and I love my P229 in .40. :)

"Wow! I'm amazed at how many people hate their Sigs! Especially their P229s!"

Only four have complained and of those two didn't like their P229s. I don't consider that very many. That's 10% total and 5% for the P229. Of course this is a poor sampling so it either under or over representative.

So many pistols, so little money.

Hey I'm always looking for Sig donations!
This unofficial survey is realy making me anxious about the E.G. Mak that I have comming.

Most disappointing: Davis .22mag. derringer, the firing pin selector in the hammer broke after the first shot! I took it back and traded it in on an NAA Mini which has been great. Most suprising: Keltec P-11,I bought it thinking it would be a cheap CCW to hold me over until I could get something better. After 5000rds. with no jams or breakage and 3 years of daily carry with the ol Keltec belt clip,I wouldn`t trade it for anything! :) Marcus

Disappointing: Colt Mustang II in blued steel. Slide was soft as butter and the slide stop gradually wore it away (gradually =fifty or sixty rounds) TWICE before Colt promised me a refund, which I still haven't recieved. Apparently they don't keep promises any better than they make pistols.

Surprising: CZ-75 accuracy and quality for the money. (Runner-up: FEG SMC-380 Walther clone.)

Most disappointing: AMT 380 - Good looking handgun but it bucks hard and bites. Slide doesn't lock back making it very difficult to clean.

Most suprising: Ruger Blackhawk .45 Colt/.45ACP Convertible - Very comfortable to shoot with 7 1/2 barrel. Remarkable accuracy with either .45 Colt or .45 ACP. A very versatile rig.
