Why can't there be posted signs along the border that state in English and Spanish that "Trespassers will be shot", or "Posted: No Trespassing"?

Why is it less illegal to cross the border than to cross onto the White House lawn? Will I just get removed and placed back across the fence of if I, an American citizen, were to cross a fence onto an Air Force base? Do foreign people have more rights to invade US territory than me? How come US residents that own land along the border are unable to defend their property when those of us elsewhere are able to?

The benefit from illegal immigration provides so much less than the cost. The politicians are catering to the heart of Americans at the expense of the wallet of Americans. "Let's spend billions to make us feel like humanitarians." It's the same kind of mind-set as "ban guns and rid ourselves of all violence". Throw money and focus attention in the wrong place to fix a problem. New laws are not needed, just that existing laws need to be enforced!

ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS BEFORE ENACTING NEW LAWS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF NOT ENFORCING CURRENT LAWS!!!!

To date, no one

As far as I know, to date, no one of the "Minutemen" have been killed. (my thank to insert diety here ) It may only be a matter of time, and if/when it happens, it will be a tragedy. The possible repercussions are huge.

It may not have happend yet, possibly, because the criminal types operating trans-border realize that an incident like that would harm their profits, so they are avoiding areas where the Minutemen are operating. Can't say, but it seems logical. Hope it stays that way.

Those guys down there should have access to everything they are legally allowed for personal protection. I wouldn't lose any sleep if they had to use some of it to save their lives.
