Midway USA, etc..

Abso friggin' lutely. Midway is a big, nice company. Never had anything but fantastic service and delivery from them. Always order from the website, though, because it tells you whether or not something's in stock.

I rate them as very good. They are unfailingly polite, their prices are competitive, and I've never taken delivery from them of an unsatisfactory product.

I have two minor complaints: first, their website is clunky. Navigating it takes time, pages don't always download, and occasionally, I've started placing an order only to have everything lost. That's a minor annoyance.

The other minor annoyance comes with back ordered ammunition. One can sometimes wait many months for a back order to be filled. Checking their site will give you estimated delivery dates that turn out to be wildly optimistic, having no relationship with reality. An example, I ordered some Magtech cleanrange .38 special ammunition from them in May, it still hasn't been delivered. Most recently, they estimated a November 19 shipment date. That's come and gone and, the ammo is still backordered with no foreseeable delivery. I've had the experience several times where something I've ordered from Midway has gone into infinite back order status and, after sitting around waiting for it for a few months, I've been able to purchase the same item as an "in stock" item from another distributor like Cabelas.
 
Ammo, parts, and many more items. They have decent prices, reasonable shipping, and are generally pretty quick. Great customer service also. I have used them many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
 
Been buying from them about 8 years. Top notch. I don't buy any ammo or powder from them, but all other components for reloading.
 
I have been satisfied with my transactions with Midway. A few unfortunate times I have been reminded that you get what you pay for. Just because they carry it doesn't mean it's a good product. Sometimes I wish they would cater a little more to the gun snob crowd and less to the "Cheaper Than Dirt" crowd.
 
They're pretty good for shipping, and I like their website better than many of their competitors. Their review feature is great,and they typically include more product info than their competitors who usually have awful websites.
That said, their prices aren't always the best anymore.

You could always ask Larry Potterfield, the owner. He had a membership here at one time, though I think it was chiefly used to argue with the Brownells guys.
 
No sooner do I complain about backordered ammo than I get an e-mail telling me that my ammo is in stock and that shipment is imminent. D'oh!
 
They won't ship me ammo. Taxachusetts, don't you know

But I have purchased from them. I found that if they had want I wanted, it was a fair price and prompt delivery, plus a nice catalog for free. I did however check around for pricing and while they were fair I won't say they were the best on all items. However I trusted Midway to be a legit standup company if something went wrong so that was worth the few extra bucks
 
Midway

I've dealt with Midway for some time now. Even been in correspondence with Larry Potter(dry country type on their commercials). They are great. I have one of their catalogs on my desk. I've got parts and ammo from them. When there was a problem discovered while in transit, they were eager to help, and just as eager to direct me to a non-Midway source. You can't ask for more.
 
I have to say, they sure impressed me. I just placed an online order late Sunday night (11/21 - 4 days before Thanksgiving) via regular UPS ground shipping. The initial shipping arrival estimate was 11/29, the Monday after Thanksgiving. My order did not include anything I needed right away, so I didn't really mind, but the guys at Midway busted their butts and got my order out quick and it is scheduled to arrive today (11/24), a full 5 days earlier than initially estimated. Of course, this was affected by the holiday, as not all orders would have the chance of arriving 5 days early, but I sure am grateful.

I just wanted to pass that along, and I do plan to give them a good review accordingly.
 
Midway USA may be one of the best companies I've ever ordered anything from. Professional, efficient, and competitive prices.
