Magnum research Baby Desert Eagle

I have decided to send mine to Ford's Custom Gun Refinishing for a brushed chrome. I am going to install wood grips. Anybody have experience with Ford's?

Not here BE - I looked at him at first - but as I am an XD'er as well - he is a sponsor over at XDTalk.com, so I was throwing change his way.

We will have to compare notes when we are done.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm looking for wood grips for my 45 beagle. Someone mentioned this site: http://www.czgrips.us/index.htm

But does anyone know of any that are ready made? Not custom? Are there laser grips available? Crimson Trace doesn't seem to make them.

There is this:

But it's a bit cumbersome.

Also, for a great holster, try this:

I have the JR-1. It fit my 9mm great, for the 45 it's a bit snug but still works. They make the JR-2 for the polymer frame beagles.

So basically, I found some cool accessories for the beagle, just not what I need! Laser grips or wood grips...but I hope the links help those who can use them.

The grip screw on the CZ is in a different area than on the Baby Eagle. The MR website has a set of wood grips, as does Hogue. Hogue has a wide variety.

ah well, thanks anyway. you'd think there would be more options for this gun, and that it would be more popular.

...and yeah. Agree with ya there. The polymer ones remind me of glocks...except uglier. If that's even possible.

Just traded in my steel 9mm for the chrome 45ACP. It's gorgeous. :)

Now I just need wood grips, and it'll be a work of art. I guess the only way for wood grips is custom then... :\

In the time that has passed has anyone found a viable shoulder rig preferably a "jackass" type for steel .45 BE??? My wife says her fobus pulls her pants down....she seldom wears jeans....
