Loyalty to certain brand?

I was wondering how many here are loyal to a certain
gun brand\maker?

I like Glocks, but would gladly buy from another company if
its something I like. I was looking at an XD the other day that
caught my attention. Think I'm just a gun enthusiast as I like
them all :D

No brand loyalty especially in todays market that quality control is so mixed, what I really find humorous and sometimes aggravating is single brand forums where they will attack anyone who post a poor review of their beloved brand. If I like it and have the money I buy but also I will post the good and the bad on the item.

Back in the 50's as kids we would come to blows over the Chevy vs ford debate ok for kids if you get my drift.;)

A love for Beretta, and a strong aversion to some brands, but I am pretty democratic overall. A company offers something nice looking, quality, good price, I will buy It.

Same here, I buy whatever suits my fancy at the time.

There may be some brands I would avoid, but none I'm really drawn to.

I just try to keep similar platforms for Mag and Ammo standardization.

I was all 40 cal Glocks, but I'm messing with the M&P 45 right now.

I have loyalty to the brand that makes what I want, for a price I can pay, and puts out a quality product.

I don't think that's much along the way of "loyalty" though, because it would change in a second.

I think Peetzakiller explained it well.

I own guns from several companies. I have more Rugers than anything else. The reason is because of the VARIETY of guns they offer.

I would say that most people are fans of certain guns rather than certain brands. (For example: a guy may really like an H&K USP and not trade it for anything BUT the same guy may not care for H&K as company because of their politics and attitude toward civilian sales.)

No loyality at all.

I favor some makers over others, but I own handguns by Glock, Springfield, S&W and Ruger. All of them are fine guns and for example, I prefer S&W revolvers over my Ruger revolvers, but that hasn't stopped me from buying a Ruger when I found one I liked.

While it's fine to have a favorite brand and be loyal to it, I couldn't see myself ruling out other guns simply because they aren't made by S&W.

There are too many great guns out there to and to over look them because they aren't stamped "S&W" only does a disservice to me.

None

A firearm is a mechanical device with a name stamped on the side. My little horse on the side of my Colt's never stopped them from malfunctioning.

If it works it's a good brand, if it doesn't work it needs tuning, repair, or the junk pile.:)

I'm completely loyal to... S&W, Colt, Browning, NAA and possibly Ruger in the future :D.

If it fits my hand, suits the purpose and the price is right, I'm loyal.

I tend to go with "originals". If I want a large-frame DA revolver, it will be a S&W. If I want a single action revolver, it will be a Colt. But, there are also matters of cost, availability, etc., that come into play. If I want a hi-cap 1911 derivative, there are lots of brands and styles, and I won't buy a Para just because they were first.

You can probably tell if you read my posts that I'm partial to Glocks and Benellis but I definitely have an appreciation for a lot of other brands and don't hesitate to recommend them in a second.

I USED to be loyal to Smith & Wesson...

I still buy older S&W revolvers, but I won't have anything at all to do with the company since 2000.
