Liberal Media & Entertainment

JFK was a big time dope head when he was is office, he was on psychotropic drugs for liberalism, just like Pat.

It's statements like this which prove to me just how far the country has fallen in regards to the value of education, and the liberals are not to blame for that.

Let's stick to topic please.

LIBERAL MEDIA / CELEBS and BOYCOTTING them.

If you want to discuss how the liberals have screwed up Americas education system, please start a new thread.

Ok. Trying to boycott liberal media and celebrities is about as fruitful as heavily taxing machine guns to prevent homicides. You're not doing a lick of good because there isn't a single movie or TV show out there that doesn't have some liberal money going into it. Again, just about all of you are running software on your computers made by a company that is decidedly anti-gun. Just about everyone in the US that uses the internet has given money to the major backbone suppliers, at least one of which is on all those antigun company lists.

What TV shows or movies do you suggest people watch that doesn't contain liberals? Gonna relegate yourself to lackluster John Wayne movies? War documentaries on The History Channel...oops! The History Channel is owned by a company on the antigun list.

boycotting  please

redworm, I see that as an oh well, just sit back and let whatever happens happens. Gun owners are not that type. They will engage in a healthy battle with who ever they need to in order to keep they'er rights well established.

The media and hollywood are an over paid group of liberal elites who want to impose they're way of life and control what and how we jack jawed peasants should think, spend money, and our time.

The media and hollywood are the absolute form of hypocrite.

No, it's not sitting back and letting the chips fall where they may. I'm merely suggesting that putting effort toward boycotting entertainment is a waste of time at best and counterproductive at worst.

No it is not, infact quite the opposite.

Look what happened 2 years ago when hollywooders protested the Iraq war in public. The people started holding out on movies, sales of tickets declined, and finally the producers, film co. and others told BARBARA STREISAND, CHARLES SHEEN the fake liberal president, and many others in foolishhood to cool it.

Boycotting these liberal elites is one of the best ways for America to protect the constitution, and not just the 2nd.

America needs to stop paying these liberals to use they're fame speak out against us.

Americans are tired of the way hollywood elites demean the people they oppose to reinforce their SENSE of class superiority. People are sick of hollywood posing as the "in crowd" not a bunch of hillbillies who go to NASCAR races like the rest of us.

The other thing liberalmedia and hollywood eiltes need to stop, is acting acting as thou it is simply axiomatic that every intelligent cultured person is a liberal. Many of these clowns never graduated from highschool themselves.

As far as guns, Id rather beat my head thru a brick wall and carve my teeth out with a butter knife, than to listen to liberal elites in the media preach about gun safety!

I'll report as the NYT would.

Experts say large film managment companies and producers who are mainly "under educated right wing gun owners" Have revoked the right of free speach in "mainstream hollywood" today.

Its hard for me to believe that anyone takes those hollyweird morons seriously.
They are the biggest bunch of rich, spoiled, ammoral, idiots that I have ever seen. Everyone likes to look at beautiful flesh, but listen to them..?

you have a loose definition of the word "report"

if that came from the times then cite the source.

"Wormtongue"
can you quantify how much attention was given to each of those issues?
I saw both issues getting equal coverage. unless you can prove your claim that one got more than the other I still don't see why anyone would take your word for it

Quantification. It's a wonderful concept.

Hypocritical misdirection...

Care to quantify that, or do you just want us to take your word for it...?

:p :p :p

Ah, but I didn't claim that both issues recieved equal coverage only that I observed equal coverage. The point being that my own bias - that of a Floridan, a person too young to vote, and a student focued on his education and supporting his family - affected what I noticed and remember of the news reports.

Uncontrolled observance is not hard data. What you or I noticed doesn't affect what really happened

So I'm not sure here what the big issue is.

If you don't like the political stance of one outlet, it's not hard to find one that agrees with your views.

All it requires is a technique know as "changing the channel".

If what one outlet says angers you so much, you can also write a letter to the editor, and give your side of the argument. I've never seen a legitimate newspaper that will not print dissenting views. (Do keep in mind that they will not print those that are rife with spelling and grammatical errors, so proofread it before you send it)
