Lets talk .22LR Semi Autos

I have an ancient Ruger, a Ruger Standard I believe, that I bought used in the very late sixties/early seventies. It still drives tacks when I do my part.

I learned about assembly/disassembly after some trial and error. It's not as bad as some say it is.

I enjoy taking my pistols apart, but the Mark II and Blackhawk don't get done very often.

I'm a big fan of the Buckmark, but since Ruger has now released the Mk IV, the ambidextrous safety has sold me on it. It make it much safer for us other-handeds to manipulate the pistol.
 
I disassembled my dads Ruger Mark II to give it a thourough cleaning once. Got it back together but it will not happen again unless absolutely needed. I am with 44amp and others on this one.
