How does that Mateba shoot, Tamara? CDNN has the .357 Mag one...I wonder if you could get the .44 Mag one from anywhere?

The Mateba shoots very nicely; negligable muzzle flip and mild recoil with even stout .357 Magnum loads.

Haven't seen any of the .44's in real life, tho.

CDNN is where I purchased mine from; if you can get a local dealer to do a transfer (you pay CDNN direct and have it shipped to the dealer) or will do a "10% over + shipping" deal, I highly recommend it. It gets a lot of "whatinnahellizzat" attention at the range, to which you can reply (all jaded-sounding) "Why, a semi-automatic revolver" as though they're all over the place or something.

I've been really curious about how they shoot. I guess I'm cursed, always seeking out strange and unusual guns.

Tamara--Cool "Pepperbox"!!! The one I'm curious about is the blued revo at the top of the grouping on the right...LOOKS LIKE maybe a 586, but I'm not sure...and the grips don't look too familiar, either...hhmmm....mikey357
