I do have to say that it's very nicely done. A whole lot of time and detail went into that!

Not quite as shiny and sparkly as those beautiful SKS's. My 1918 Mauser was sporterized at some point, the stock has a lot of blemishes, bit it is, I believe, the original. I can make out where wood filler was used in the cleaning rod holes and what not. Alotta of character on this grizzled old gun.

What ever, that's a nice gun!!! My Type 56 is an arsenal refurb and the stock is a refinished wartime stock. The 54 has plenty of bumps and handling marks.... The 51, I just clean her, smile and put her away!

You had to pull out the Garand didn't you?!?!? Where's my d@mn wallet? Oh yeah, it's the empty thing on the table! LOL

The Garand is more of a Princess. Still royalty, but a little younger, a little sexier. Gets the groping a little more. Wouldn't be there without the Queen.
Not a fat wallet, but literally luck of the draw gifted me with the Garand.
